What Brands of Toothpaste are Gluten-Free?

Wondering which brands of toothpaste are gluten-free and safe for dentists to use on patients with celiac disease?

Celiac.com 06/14/2022 - We get a lot of questions from celiac community members wondering if certain products are gluten-free. Lately, we've seen a lot of questions about which top brands of toothpaste are gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease.

Specifically, what brands of toothpaste are gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease?

Toothpaste is one of those products that is usually formulated to be gluten-free. So, unless gluten ingredients are added during processing, most all toothpaste is likely to be gluten-free, and safe for people with celiac disease. In fact, celiac.com is unaware of any major brand of toothpaste that contains gluten.

However, many brands don't bother to specifically label their toothpaste as gluten-free. Others do.

At the end of the day, we regard most toothpaste to be gluten-free, and safe for people with celiac disease, we realize that some people, especially this with celiac disease, specifically look for products labeled gluten-free.

As always, read labels, avoid gluten ingredients, and choose carefully.

Hiya, any tips for toothpaste free of gluten, dairy, sorbitol, Xanthum gum and other IBS triggers? I have to be gluten free and low FODMAP but get so bloated and nauseous after I brush my teeth

Sometimes that is the case but what is curious to me is the remark by your physician about being "borderline". I assume he was referring to the total IGA score but it just seems like an irrelevant remark when it is on the high side rather than being deficient.
