They also have a store brand frozen gluten free pie crust that is amazing! It’s not sweet like the Wholy Whomesome brand and is very flaky.

Good to know, I prefer a ready-made one to the mixes. Also, Fry's grocer has begun stocking celiac-safe cakes and pies, etc. in the frozen food section. 😊

Celiac.com 01/28/2020 - Whole Foods Market will be closing its main gluten-free bakery for the entire Southern US market, a move that is expected to leave over 100 employees out of a job. The company, Gluten-Free Bakehouse, is set to close on March 8th, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the North Carolina Department of Commerce.

Celiac.com 12/24/2020 - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says it has warned Amazon.com’s Whole Foods Market for failing to label some food products for known food allergens. As a result, Whole Foods has recalled over 30 food products in the last year after failing to list major food allergens on product labels, the agency said. Unlabeled food allergens, such as wheat, can pose a health risk for people with celiac disease or other gluten sensitivities.   Depending on which source you research sprouting or fermentation can reduce lectins. I sprout rice, buckwheat and quinoa. However, I admit that gas and intestinal inflammation still plague me after 5 1/2 mo gluten-free. I have been resisting but I may try the aip diet at some point.
