So I finally made it to that specialist in the city, he straight up put me on 4x the standard UC medication and within a few days I am active again and able to leave my house. He stated the Silica I thought caused it would have softened and gelled in my intestines thus it probably only mildly irritated my intestines. But he said nonetheless it seems it flared my UC. So he said if I stick with the paleo/keto diet it will help with remission once the medicine calms it down. So now to my cookiChicken Pizza Crust
So wanting a thicker sturdier crust and on a pizza craze I found, disliked and modified a recipe for making a low carb crust out of shredded chicken. One thing I like about these crust is they are sturdy enough to make in batches and freeze/fridge between layers of parchment paper for later unlike others I have tried. Then just top and heat up later. Makes 2x 8" Personal Crust 6oz Cooked Chicken chopped and shredded(note if using canned weigh it after draining IE a 10oz can will have 5ozFlourless and Paleo Fat Head Pizza
So I took the original idea of the fat head pizza (will include original recipe at bottom), I replaced the cheese with Miyoko's Vegan versions to make it dairy free, then used what I learned earlier and replaced the flour with Pork Panko from BaconsHeir to make this. Heck you can go carnivore with it and just sub the pork panko as I use the same grams of cheese vs Vegan Cheese. OH if you want double the recipe and use the extra dough to make it a deep dish then have some extras for other fun pChicken and Rice Soup with Cauliflower Rice

BABA\S STUFFING RECIPE~ Every family member uses this recipe 2 pounds of gluten free sausage meat (The kind you find in the meat department and ae rolled into "chubs" 2 Medium onions, shopped fine 1 Cup finely chopped gluten free bread crumbs Brown sausage meat in a covered frying pan, chop up the meat into small pieces and brown Cook until celery and onions are clear Cook up 2 Cups of rice (If you do not like rice, reduce to one Cup, but it isSome drug companies have been telling people that some of the drugs that they manufacture contain gluten
There is an excellent Gluten Free Site entitled "glutenfreedrugs Some drug companies have been telling people that some of the drugs that they manufacture contain gluten. When I investigated these claims, as many have, it appears that the reason they are blatantly claim that their drugs are contaminated is because they have used a sugar alcohol as an excipient. Sugar alcohols are not truly sugars or alcohols, rather they are carbohydrates that provide A source of calories. The sugar alcohols arFlourless Paleo Cinnamon Rolls
Ok this recipe is mad scientist level out there, forced by medical issues into a corner, unable to eat almond or coconut flour right now, allergic to dairy with Celiac disease and unable to eat carbs....but craving cinnamon rolls. This took my creativity to a new level and it was godly good and the secret ingredient will blow your mind, Pork Panko. DO NOTE you can probably use real dairy cheese, and butter in this recipe and do a full on Carnivore Keto Cinnamon Roll 1 1/2 cup (84g) BaconsheCooking Expirments and Gut Issues
So today I started some experimenting, I used what I learned from my protein sticky dough experiment about psyliumm husk gelling with warm liquids and applying it with a gluten free flour mixture (almond/coconut/Swerve/guar gum )then taking the hot mix and cooling then adding in the eggs and baking powder akin to a choux pastry dough I can get amazing rise and super puffy results. Hmm it reminded me of the base doughnuts that you add creme fillings to it was that puffy and soft. I think taking mFudgy Flourless Brownies
So needing to find a keto brownie that would be easy to digest I found a recipe and modified it to fit my needs. These are best served hot so leftovers are best heated before serving. By the way if you have a icing or some chocolate syrup I would suggest serving it drizzles over these it adds a wonderful touch. 6oz Sugar Free Baking Chips (Pascha is what I used) 1/4 Cup + 2 tbsp (84g) Nutiva Butter Flavored Coconut oil 1 1/4 Cup (250g) Swerve Divided 4 Room Temp Eggs 1/2 Cup (50gNovember Update 2019
So my health is quite bad, the GI upset has leveled out after 4 weeks the bleeding stopped with vitamin K and calcium enriched almond milk daily to encourage clotting. My diet has been mostly meat, vegan cheese, collagen and almond milk drinks, and snacking on pork rinds. I recent introduced some almond yogurt to try and populate my gut bacteria and kale for vitamins. The diarrhea is still daily and is quite annoying, the anemia is also persistent and I am sleeping a lot more. The results from tPaleo Fish Sticks
So going over some classics I have not had in years and sticking with a keto/Plaleo diet I decided I missed fish sticks. Found a few recipes and modified them and gave myself options. For the pork rinds I suggest either BaconHeir Pork Panko and season to taste to choose your favorite seasoned ones and pulse in a food processor for panko. I personally tried with Epic for more crunch, and 4505 is smoother better tasting. Alternatively you can use NutCrumbs or seasoned almond meal. 3-3.5oSecret Sauce
So each place has it's own secret sauce, this is the one I use for burgers and dips. You can use more mayo instead of yogurt for a better spread for burgers. 1/2 cup (120g) Mayo (I use Primal Kitchen) 1/2 cup (120g) Almond Yogurt Kite Hill Plain Unsweetened 16 Dill hamburger Pickle Chips (56g) 2tbsp Dill Pickle Juice 2tbsp Unsweetened Ketchup (I use Primal Kitchen, I even do s spicy version with their spicy ketchup) 1tbsp Sweetener (I use Swerve Erythritol but you can use sugar)Do you have a Jaguar or a Kia in your Driveway??? Or Why Vitamins have a (K)knowledge (I)mage and (A) awareness Issues today…and why people prefer Jaguars over KIA’s to this day…
To Whomever Might Read This, This is metaphor only …not intended to diagnosis or treat anyone but to educate…. There is an old joke told about Jaguar cars in the 1980s’ and early 1990s etc… that you needed two to drive one… Kia might have been in/on that same boat…when first introduced in circa 1992 but since the early 2000s IE this Millennium or so…. They have improved tremendously….and truth be told soooo have Jaguar’s ….but you might still want to have more than one on hand….Simple Lemon Dill Salmon
This recipe even has a great way to get the skin off, I find this recipe to be really diet friendly, no added salt, no onion, garlic, or pepper. 1lb Salmon Center Cut 1 Lemon Sliced up 1 tbsp oil of choice (I used avocado but gee, or olive would be nice) 2 tbsp cooking white wine Dried or fresh dil for garnish 1. Preheat oven to 475F 2. Put the oil in your dish (I used a oven safe skillet but a baking dish would work), Put half your lemon Slices on the bottom of the pan pourShortbread Butter Tin Cookies
This is modified from a recipe I found so it would taste just like those my grandmother used to keep in the metal tin on the kitchen counter. Makes 12-14 cookies 120g (1 Cup) Almond Flour 50g (1/4 Cup) Swerve 1 tsp Baking powder 1 Egg Room Temp 2 tbsp Nutiva Butter Flavored coconut Oil Melted 1 Tsp Vanilla 10 Drops Biscuit Flavor from Capella Flavors (Biscuit as in the English butter cookie) 1. Preheat Oven to 350F 2. Combine Dry ingredients in one bowl 3. Whisk wet inSugar-Less Cookies
These are bit more crumbly sugar cookie knock off, the coconut flour makes them super inexpensive to make and it makes a large amount. Will post a higher grade one that is more for decorating with icing later. 84g (3/4 Cup) Coconut Flour 133g (2/3 Cup) Swerve Granular 2 tsp Cream of tartar 1 tsp baking soda 4 Eggs Whisked Room Temp 80-120ml (1/3-1/2 Cup) Nutiva Butter Flavored Coconut Oil I find it depends on the brand of coconut flour start with the lower and see if you need moreMini Keto Pound Cake

So I got to see my GI doc...3 weeks of being in pain, D and bleeding issues. I had a nice detailed report almost 2 pages in a word document summarizing each weeks pain, diet, supplements, my state, BM details, and conclusions. He read through the thing and asked to scan it into the records, then after a basic examination he ordered a CT scan and full blood work. Ironically I went up there to get my old RX for UC but did not get that. He told me to get some pepto bismal to help with the D anMy Orginal Paleo Bread
This recipe is really heavy, the bread is a strong herbed flavored bread that is meant to be slathered slathered and butter and eaten like garlic bread with soups/pasta or have cheese melted over it. Seasonings to be used are Little Italy Blend from "the Spice House" or Churri Churri Seasoning from Spicly Organics. Makes a 2lb loaf in a large bread loaf pan. 172g Coconut Flour 2 tbsp Psyllum Husk Powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 tbsp baking powder 1 tbsp Ener Baking Soda or 2tsp Baking SodUC update
So for the past 3 weeks I have been on a carnivore keto diet for the UC flare. Started off with just eggs and canned tuna but I have been adding other meats and happy I can eat many without issues I used to not. Salmon, Pot Roast, Chicken Salad, Steak, Turkey Bacon, Turkey Sausage (mild), Beef stew (only the beef in it), Tuna Salad, etc. But with this I have hardly any gas and no bloat/gas pains. I am happy enjoying meats again without issues and am glad about this little issue. (could not eat m-

John Scott pointed me to Wiki entry about the effect of diet on hookworm egg production: https://www.helminthictherapywiki.org/wiki/NA_incubation:_very_detailed_method_by_Alana#Promotion_of_egg_viability_by_dietary_manipulation
Nothing presently in my diet was mentioned in the article, but it does bring up the obvious point that my diet would naturally affect the health and wellness of the hookworms that live in my gut. Something to think about.

Yes, there are several gluten-free certifications out there (one is the GFCO), and the usual standard they claim is 10ppm, however, recent findings indicate that even the GFCO's higher standards may not ensure that foods they certify are gluten-free:
