My Continuing Saga With Being Gf And No Sleep

Well I am two weeks completely gluten free, and no signs of improvement in my sleep. Have to give it more time I guess, although I think I have a bit more energy. Haven't found it that hard to stay away from the gluten, just have to more aware of what I am eating, and show more will power. Seems to do the trick.No word from my doctor on my prescription for tryptophan yet. Continuing Gluten Free...one Week Now

Well today being Tuesday, July 26th, I am one week gluten-free for the first time in years. Not seeing any improvement in my sleep yet, but I guess that will take time. Not sure if it is the gluten that is causing me my sleep problems. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and we are going to try Tryptophan for my sleep. So I am anxious to see if that helps in any way. I read on one of the Celiac sites that our bodies don't absorb the tryptophan from our foods and that could be the cause o

Still Trying To Figure This "blog" Thing Out...lol

Well I am just starting my blog, not used to doing a diary everyday, but hey this might be fun.I am just back from Skagway, Alaska where we keep our boat and go fishing every weekend for shrimp, crab, salmon and halibut. Our freezer is full for the winter with fish, so have no excuse again for hitting the beef too much. It was so windy there this weekend, that we couldn't get out in the boat.
