Gastroenterologist

I went to see the Gastro and the result was that an endoscopy needs to be done. In order for a "good" test result to be available, I have to ingest gluten. First it was going to be for 30 days, but I was able to reduce the time to only 3 weeks. This has been the most miserable month of my life. June 29 and counting.

Into May

It is now the middle of May. Where does the time go? Lately...

I have been Gluten Free for about 3 months now. I guess I should re-phrase...I have been aware of and learning to stay away from gluten-laden food items for about 3 months now. I think I am healing and my intestines seem to be getting back to "better." Another Day Of Feeling Icky

Icky is a word that I have been using lately. I don't like using it because it reminds me that I don't feel good, great, wonderful, or ready to take on the day. I have a co-worker that has a sixth sense. She can "see" the color in people. I call her my barometer. When I start to feel this "ick" I walk over to her and she takes one look at me and gives me the thumbs down or a so-so gesture (we work in a call center so she can't "talk" to me all the time.)
