Hey, I finally rec'd my Chebe bread order. Last night I used the original mix to make hot dog buns. They weren't like any bun I've every had, but they were good. Since the instructions said to flatten them out to about 1/2 inch, I thought they might rise. But no, they were still 1/2 inch thick when they finished cooking. They were crusty on the outside and kind of chewy on the inside. I sliced them in half lengthwise so we could put our hot dogs and bratwurst inside them. I ended up justApprox 2.5 Weeks Of Gf
the food component of my consumption has been gluten-free, but wondering about some of my enzymes - Q-zyme by garden of life? Also some members of this group seem to think that even well washed baking trays previously used with wheat is not good enough. not planning on making this a continuous blog but using this as a description of my condition.gastroparesis is an awful paralysis of the internal smooth muscles of the stomach. A normal persons stomach will automatically contract at regular intervals helping to churn and digest food. When the nerve impulses to perform this involuntary activity slow down or even cease then severe digestive distress will result. Tonight it's steak! Yummy! Marinated in Lawry's Chipolte marinade. Called up Lawry's and they're sending me a list of their gluten-free products. Hi all.Just heard of blogs not so long ago so I figured I would start one. I am 31 years old and a mother of 3 kids, Autumn 14, Asia 11 and Graeden 7 (dont do the math ). I have been gluten free since Feb 05 and feel lots and lots better. I have tested negative on the blood panel but know better. I was pretty much gluten free when I had the testing. My daughter Asia may be like me. She has associated bloated feelings when she eats wheat and oatmeal. We have started the testing and am mixeHome Again Today
Tried to go into work again today, and only made it 45 minutes this time. Got REALLY sick. Guess I need to stop eating for a day or two until my system calms down. It is nice to know though that it is Celiac, and I can for the most part control this. And it is better than it was 2 months ago. Not one week could pass without missing at least a few hours because of the diarrhea. I've made it almost 3 weeks now.My Health Story
Hey everyone! I have always had a problem with stomach aches. Although they were not bad, they were still there. In sixth grade they started getting worse. The summer between sixth and seventh grade, I started getting acid and some kind of burping. It was horrible. Every night after dinner, it would almost sound like a fireworks show. Also one day at the beginning of summer, I got dizzy. Not just a little bit though, it was HORRIBLE! It wouldn't stop! All day I would just lay on the couch with aDrum Roll Please...

Well, the first time in almost a month that I had to leave work because I was sick. I got glutened on Saturday, and managed to get through yesterday, but it was a bad sign when I was in the bathroom 3 times within the first 1 1/2 hrs of work, so I just went home. At least now I know when I get sick, if I just be extra vigilant, it won't last very long. I used to get diarrhea for months on end. I was actually used to having it. My son bought the lawn mowing business. Well...my husband and I loaned him the money for it. He's been working hard already contacting customers, becoming acquainted with the equipment and getting it all ready to go, setting up his schedule, etc. I think he'll be going out to mow for the first time tomorrow. I loved it! I like suspense/sci-fi. Very interesting plot twists: creating clones to harvest organs for the rich clients of an insurance company. It reminded me a little of The Matrix, or Total Recall. Anyways, if you like the thriller suspense movies then it's great. It wasn't as violent as The War of the Worlds. My husband didn't like it at all...he ended up taking the baby and walking in the hall for parts of it. Lol! Poor guy. On to part 4--and probably the worst part of my life. After 6th grade, our school district condemned the jr high school building, so they sent us to the high school in my home town in 7th and 8th grade. The school bought a chair lift for me, since the building was 3 stories, and they couldn't keep moving classes around for me anymore. Depression really kicked in in 7th grade. It seems like I wanted to cry at the drop of a hat, and felt lower than dirt. I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb,-

Nothing presently in my diet was mentioned in the article, but it does bring up the obvious point that my diet would naturally affect the health and wellness of the hookworms that live in my gut. Something to think about.

Yes, there are several gluten-free certifications out there (one is the GFCO), and the usual standard they claim is 10ppm, however, recent findings indicate that even the GFCO's higher standards may not ensure that foods they certify are gluten-free:
