Today's Thoughts
Today I woke up as usual. I really wasn't all that productive today. In school, that is. Partly because I didn't have that much schoolwork to do. Partly because we had visitors. Partly because I was completely bored with my work and was busy with my story. (I got a chapter done in Sapphire Necklace.) Partly because I was tired. A lot of the time I was staring into nowhere -more precisely, my own world. One of them. AlneaOmeca.

I'm a pretty weird person. Don't worry about using the term on me. If I use it on myself, it's probably safe to use on me. Probably.
I'm a science geek. Biology geek, to be more specific. I like learning about stuff like red tide is caused by the algal bloom of organisms in phylum Pyrrophyta.
I'm a writer. So that's how I communicate the best. What I'm most like comes out there. Like I don't really look at things the way a girl is supposed to. I have to force myself to see things from a girl's perspective.
Hey, don't blame me. I come from a family of ten kids. I'm eccentric.
I love snakes. A lot of bugs are cool and the ones that aren't I squash. Dirt? Let's go dig in it! That pillbug looks weird; I wonder what will happen if I cut it in half with the trowel. Tea parties and hairdos? Prefer to stay away from tea parties, hate hairdos. Looks? I look like somebody weird. I brush my hair a minimal amount -I do it when I'm going to a public place -so it tends to look like a rat's nest most of the time. I wear glasses, keep a pencil tucked behind one ear and carry a heavy binder around. And I'm pretty antisocial.
Yes, I'm weird. Add to that I'm a fantasy writer. That makes for some pretty interesting looks when I go around singing and talking to myself in my own language. I'll daydream at the most inopportune times while talking to myself about what I'm going to be doing with my stories. That helps the antisocial factor. People tend to avoid it.
That's why I'm so good at writing. It's how I express myself. Speaking to someone outside my family (physical and spiritual; the ones here in NC, at least) I trip over my tongue dozens of times. Doesn't look like it, but oh well.
Until next time,
Nestami.
