This is not an advertisement, but some things I highly recommend:

Books by Ted Dekker. Boy, is he a great author! He writes books that are great for the action and for the meaning -the first I have ever been able to find! I stayed up late last night reading one of his books. Oh, wow, it was gripping and I couldn't put it down even though several times I wanted to and knew that I should. I finished it. These are books that I recommend to anybody over age fourteen. Yes, I'm thirteen, but I've seen more and know more than the world thinks I'm supposed to.

The band Third Day. Not only are they a Christian band, but they live it out. They dress respectably, wear their hair at a respectable length, and are not afraid to speak about their faith. They have great songs, which have hit me in a variety of ways in a variety of places. This is one band that I would not miss. Ever.

The following artists: Michael Card. He's a great Christian guitar player and songwriter.

Steve Green. Wonderful Christian singer, a lot of the time taking songs right out of Bible verses. He even has some CDs for kids.

Michael W. Smith. You may have heard of him, a contemporary Christian music superstar. I still highly recommend him. He's sincere in what he does.

Then SONICflood, Jars of Clay, Avalon, Dallas Holm, Bruce Carroll, Chris Tomlin and others are also up there.

Oh, and James Galway is a great flutist.
