Need Help With Hair Products

Hi.

Can anyone help me with hair products?! I am currently using Garnier Fructis for curly hair, including a curl shaping spray. I am however having problems with a very itchy head!

 

I have curly hair that is dry and also thinning out ALOT.... sigh. I have a very hard time understanding the ingrediants listed on lables for hair products, lotions, etc as to what is gluten or not.

Could I get some help as to what other people use for hair products as well as lotions. I like to have a leave in conditioner in my hair to hold down frizz also.

 

I would also like to be able to use a product to help firm my face, I am now 50 and feel like I need to start tighting up the loose skin that is starting to form. lol (I really don't like what happens as you age)

 

Basiclly what I'm asking for is a list of whats good and not good as far as hair products, skin care? Also if anyone has a list of what to look for to avoid when buying these products that would be great too.

 

They have a great book out to use when grocery shopping I wish someone would come out with a take along book for health and beauty too!

I had a lot of trouble finding a decent gluten-free shampoo, too. I had DH (dermatitis herpetiformis) on my scalp, so it was doubly important. I finaly found this line of skin and hair care products called arbonne that's gluten free. I've been using their shampoo and conditioner for about a month now and I really like it. I know they have skin care stuff too, but I don't know how they work. Arbonne only sells its products through consultants and online, and you need an id code from a consultant to order on line ( kind of complicated and annoying, I know). They are really good about replying quickly and get new customers set up and you only have to deal with it the first time. Anyway, even though its a bit more work than just going to the store, I really recommend you try them- especially the shampoo with tea tree oil! :) Hope this helps!

I'm in the same place. I have decided to stay with Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner -I can be sure I'm ok. I also have curly hair - very curly and I leave this conditioner on for frizz. Facial products - I recommend www.Devita. My nutritionist recommended their productsso I know they're safe and I love them. I'm using the morning and evening moisturizer - expensive and worth it. Susan

neutrogena T-gel anti-dandruff shampoo has wheat in it and made my scalp break out.
