My Life
Chapter 2: Starting school
Celiac.com Sponsor (A13):
Starting school was the problem. My mom and dad had put me into a private school but the MAIN problem was my food. What was i going to Eat? its not like they had a special diet program!
My first day of kindergarten my mom decided to make me some lental soup ( which by the way is myALL TIME FAVORITE!) So for one year straight i ate lental soup not one day did i eat anything else. I was the smallest person in my class and i at age 15, i am still the smallest person in my class but i have a BIG HEART! LOL Now, last year i moved into a public school, it is much different compared to a little private school with appoxamatley 140 kids in it. Last year was a major change and it was difficult but i think it was worth it. This year, the school started providing me with a gluten-free lunch. I am so happy now! Yahoo! I AM POSTING THIS BLOG BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO GET TO KNOW SOMEONE ELSE THAT HAS CELIAC DISEASE BECAUSE I DONT KNOW ANYBODY BESIDES MY SISTERS AND BROTHER WHO HAVE THIS! ( i do have a facebook and if u want to look me up u can by my initials JAMM MEAD) thanks
