The books came in the mail yesterday. I bought these: (from (Company Name Removed - They Spammed This Forum and are Banned) - though I was a little frustrated with the delivery time. I should have ordered them from my local book store and kept the money here in town, they would have gotten here the same day despite my paying extra to get them here faster.)

Celiac Disease: A Guide to Living with Gluten Intolerance

I started reading The First Year last night. I love how the book is laid out to take you through the first year of changing your life style to gluten free living.

This is CERTAINLY the most difficult / easiest on my body diagnosis I've had in a long time. I'm thankful that it's something workable and that I don't have to take in any more 'treatments' that could do more damage than good.

But boy-oh. . .what a pain. **laughing**

I've lost 12 pounds so far. (Yay!) I took out ALLLLLL of my old clothes - I'm so looking forward to being back in them again. I'm eating much healthier.

I found a whole foods grocer that's not too far away - 45 minutes. I don't live in the boonies. . . but I'm close. I hope to make it up to Franklin this weekend to check the store out.

Last night my husband and I went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. They have a Gluten Free Menu, that I ordered from. I happily (very excitedly) ate my dinner. . .then promptly got sick on it. Phoey. I'll make an appointment with their manager sometime this week and go talk to her about what could have possibly have gone wrong. They profess to cook the gluten free food separately. I dunno. . .maybe someone grabbed a common utensil? We 'used' to eat there A LOT, so I'd like to see if this can be worked out with the management and staff. I'd like to be able to continue utilizing their restaurant.

I also want to make a run for some rice flour to do a comparison with the flour I ground from my new coffee mill. That should prove to be enlightening, at least.

Off to do stuff.
