Is There A Difference Between Celiac And Fibromyalgia

A little bit about me. I'm 45 yrs old, 5 ft, 2 in at 205 lbs. I have always been overweight and have always felt bad. I can remeber being 8 yrs old and crying to my mother because I was in pain and my stomach hurt a lot. Hardly any energy, diareah, always felt tired, cranky. My father was one of those types, if you wern't bleeding or had a limb pointed in the wrong direction nothing was wrong. His word were always, "Get Over It" "Nothing but laziness" "it's all in your head." Finally got to the point I just kept my mouth shut and tried to deal with it best I could one day at a time. Speed forward thru the yrs, couldn't hold down a job, Had a son 2 months premature. Bad sick all thru the pregancy. Seven miscarriages, diagnosed with depression back 15 years ago. Stomach problems, flu like symptoms, chronic fatigue, then combine that with 20 something years in an abusive marriage.

Fast forward a few more yrs. Son graduated high school and joined the army, I left the marriage. Finally decided if he killed me he killed me, but I was gonna leave. Been almost 7 yrs now. What a difference. Found a man who loves me and respects me, treats me like a queen. With his help I became a truck driver. I absolutely love it. Was referred to a rhumatologist, diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in August of last year. Finally, aknowledgment that I wasn't crazy or lazy. Couldn't have any bloodwork done because didn't have the money and lousy ins. Tried the meds for that, couldn't tolerate them. So started researching on everything. I can take herbals but not prescrip meds. Come to find out diet had a lot to do with my stomach problems. DUH! Now, why didn't I think of that? :P Anyway I went gluten free 4 months ago and wow, simply amazing. I have lost 16 lbs now and am starting to get more energy, sleeping better. My sweetie, is 100% behind me in all of this including going gluten free with me. All in all, I feel better, like i'm 20 something now and I can remember in my 20's I felt like I was in my 60's.

Anyway, I was wondering if Celiac can be misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia?
