Diet Cure?

I've been gluten- and casein- free for over a year, soy-free for almost a year, and none of my symptoms have gone away. My joints still ache, I'm still tired all the time.

Thankfully, I have an absolutely awesome mom and dad who keep trying to figure out what's wrong ...and I think we may have hit something this time. The Diet Cure by Julia Ross -filled with little questionnaires that direct you towards what chemical imbalance your body may have -has definitely helped me find out what's wrong (I think I have about five of the eight imbalances she listed, along with maybe a thyroid issue). Currently I'm testing one of those things -a sugar allergy. It's been about one day, and I've already noticed a change in my fatigue levels.

Still hoping for a cure,

As before and always be,

Nestami.

I have also been struggling with Celiac for the 13 months my symptoms are acute and ever lasting. I have been very diligent about my diet and cross-contaimentation and still find almost every day in bed trying to live minute to minute. I have had cancer twice in the last 11 years and that was easier than this disease. I am hoping that someday I will return to life and begin living again or the lord will take me away from this awful pain everyday that is unbearable. God Bless you and I do feel your pain..

Hi Nestami,
You should get other food tested by US Biotek or Genova. A simple blood sample will reveal other food intolerance and hearing how you feel, for sure they will discover reactive foods.

Lisa -
I've been eliminating foods which seem to give me problems, which I believe is the best way to test for food intolerances. Another problem that's come up is nightshades, and going off those has made me feel much better, though not perfect. I've completed my trial run off sugar, and I believe going off that will also help a great deal. If the problems persist, even off a great deal of foods, blood tests is my next option for finding out what's wrong. Thank you for your consideration!

As before and always be,
Nestami.
