Another Day Of Feeling Icky

Icky is a word that I have been using lately. I don't like using it because it reminds me that I don't feel good, great, wonderful, or ready to take on the day. :(

I have a co-worker that has a sixth sense. She can "see" the color in people. I call her my barometer. When I start to feel this "ick" I walk over to her and she takes one look at me and gives me the thumbs down or a so-so gesture (we work in a call center so she can't "talk" to me all the time.) Today was a thumbs down day. I finished up what work I could do in about 15 mintues, text my boss, and left with about 2 hours left in my work day. I drove home in pain and laid down on the couch as soon as got home. Well, I fell into the couch. The darndest thing was that amidst all the pain I was hungry! I heated up my "Amy's" brand gluten free tamale and ate that, then polished off my BR strawberry ice cream. With my hunger gone, I just had my aching stomach to contend with so I moved into my bed, curled up into the fetal position and let me fever lull me to sleep. 3 hours later the pain was gone, but the fever feeling remained. Now, 4 hours later, I have a headache.

My husband, who works nights, is a healer. He can feel the energy of the universe and uses it to heal. He can take away a migraine, he is awesome. He is on his way home and I am waiting for him to channel some energy through me in an effort to lessen my icky-ness.

I am also still feeling withdrawal 2 months at going gluten free. Does anyone know if you have to withdraw caseine also? I use rice milk most of the day, but still put milk in my coffee and do not avoid trace amounts of milk in the food I eat. When you go gluten free do you always have to remove caseine.

Saw you entry and noted you ate strawberry ice cream. I never had a problem with Strawberries, but in going gluten free I became highly allergic to strawberries and/or the sulfites they are treated with. Watch next time you eat strawberries to see if they are the problem.
