Hi,
I'm new and I have a bunch of auto-immune issues. Hashimot's since the 90's but no meds (labs low normal). Had lymphocytic colitis 5 years ago and now don't feel well. Just dx with thrombocytopenia and had some abd pain and the endoscopy showed: Chronic Duodenitis with polypoid mucosa & Esophogitis (barrett's). I've stoped eating gluten but is this consistent with celiac? The microscopic exam showed limited diminution of the villi and prominent brunner gland involvement and definitive parietal cells in pits and gastiric mucosa with a mild excess of plasma cells in the lamina propria. Is that celiac? I'm fatigued still and have pain. I am at a loss of what to do next. Maybe I need low does natural thyroid? I am not overweight, eat right, don't drink, no spicy foods so I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, pam
