Wee I am now (or will be on the 1st of April..no joke!) an employed person. Got the kindergarten teacher position at the local Country Day School (gifted school).

I go in on Tuesday to sign the papers. I have to do a set of quick training they require the following week before I start too.

It has GREAT benefits... wow... But I will not be making 6 figures there... ah well. I will stash capital away and re-open my own private school NEXT year. Very exciting but it takes a LOT of planning to launch a new school and/or business and so I will take it slow and steady.

I have a backpack igloo cooler and a bunch of glass containers and I am ready to never have to explain the gluten free thing because I cook such tasty stuff.. no one will even notice. :D Not like it is a secret, but.. it is a PITA to explain and I do not like others having to deal with it. I am going through planning out the monthly shopping/cooking fiasco for April and dividing it into 1 week sections instead of 2 week sections. I remember when I would do it for a whole month (except fresh veg) WAO! what was I thinking? Oh yeah.. i hate shopping... *sighs*

The SO is currently in Germany visiting his parents for Spring Break. It is actually a bit nice to have time to get things done. He doesnt bother me or anything.. I just like spending my hours with him so much that I skip big projects! hahah :D

My daughters Doctor did not like the so so levels of her celiac panel, so in a couple of weeks she will have allergy testing and then she wants to schedule the biopsies regardless of the blood test. I was so momentarily happy to think that my little girl was free and clear of this trouble. It nags my insides because it is likely my fault if she has it. :(

I hope my two minions (the SO and kid) pick up the slack around here when I am working full time. I am pretty sure they will. They are fantastic like that. I love them so much. The SO has also spoken of wanting to just go grain free 100%..... and now that I can eat rice and tinkyada is my friend... well... I don't WANNA! bahahahhaah We shall see! Hopefully I can get back to posting my recipes here. Its just been so crazy busy lately.

Thanks Mamaw. I had my own private school for 8 years while I lived in Hawaii. So I know the ins and outs for the most part. The laws of Washington state are a bit different so it will take some time to get it sorted. I find it is true that the people who are happiest and make the most money are those that OWN the business. This time I will have employees as well, so there is that. I have to figure out benefits and medical/dental etc. It will be great. This job is something nice to do while I take care of it all, though. I am quite happy with it! I am overqualified for EVERYTHING so it was actually not easy to find something that fit me. The IRONY!!!! *facepalm*. Thank you so much :D
