oh, what a year! I've neglected my diet for celiac disease trying to get my RA straightened out. I was bedridden much of late summer and felt awful the rest of the time. I have never been in so much pain as I've been this year. In October I finally saw a rheumatologist who gave it to me straight, either take the meds or die about 15 years younger than the 'expected' life for a U.S. female. I am now on Methotrexate, prednisone (nice weight gain  ), naproxyn, folic acid and he's now talking a biologic! I am no longer bedridden but I do have great fatigue and nausea on some days. I totally blew off my celiac disease diet which I am now having great troubles with as far as symptoms go. I felt awful today after a full day yesterday of wheat. After breakfast today, I was in so much pain..which is good, it was a wake up call for me...and since this morning, I've been gluten free. I have no intention of going back. It hurts too much.
