yesterday turned out well. I had rice, carrots and cucumbers for dinner last night. Today I have a really bad headache, probably gluten withdrawal. I did a full qigong workout last night, felt wonderful. Today son starts his drama class for the semester so we'll be traveling and eating out. I'm going to take him to Hu Hot, they have an allergy sheet you can get that tells what has wheat, peanuts and other allergens in their foods and sauces. I'm also going grocery shopping tonight for lots of fruits and vegetables. I read 3 books yesterday on RA and all recommended at least vegetarian if not vegan diet to help with ra. I have to get off this high dose of MTX. It's really doing a number on me. I have 7 weeks until I see the rheumatologist again and I plan on being a whole lot better than I am now. I am going to print out a 100 day cheat free food chart to help keep track of gluten free, vegan days.

For breakfast I am having a spoon of almond butter with some blueberries stirred in and a cup of hot tea. Snacks are raisins and pecans.

Still having problems with constipation. I'm eating some fatty foods (almond butter) that usually seem to help but so far no luck. I know this gluten has to work out of my system and I'm only on day 3. My skin is looking clearer, not so reddish. My teeth don't seem so translucent either this morning.

well, gotta start the day, it's going to be a long one! I'm taking some books along to read during drama, that should keep me occupied.
