New GI Doc

Ennis-TX

Well, I saw a new PCP about a month ago, completely useless, and then charged me a ridiculous co-pay I could not even afford (I got out of this on a technicality on their part). Anyway, he just heard my issues and got me an appointment with a GI doc. I saw the GI doc yesterday told him of my issues and the random daily cowpie like BMs on and off I have been having since a gluten exposure in August.  He got me arranged for dual scope next week. The best thing is I only have to pay a $60 co-pay. Finally some updates on my GI tract.

Well, yesterday, I got a call from the doctor that the co-pay was $120...fine between market sales, and my parents I can make that one-time payment. Then just a few mins ago I got a call from the hospital where they will do it and told I have an additional co-pay of $200.....I am calling Monday and canceling. $320 is more than 1/3rd my monthly income....before I pay rent, bills, Medicare, etc. I normally have $18 left then whatever I can make at markets to feed myself. So until I get the food truck going and launch a real business I will just live with the daily odd BM issues.
