Actually in the hospital now getting a gastric emptying test done, I brought some Julian Bakery Bread since they want me to eat bread with the eggs. The cooked it all in the microwave in disposable containers so I have no worry about getting gluten or any other allergen in the foods. So far the first 2 x-ray have shown the food not to have moved...sorta expected this without digestive enzymes or flushing it with liquid (only allowed 4oz of water).
Well my truck has been up and down with performance, seems when it warms up is when the major power loss issues happen. Engine codes say 2 injectors...probably going to have to have them replaced around $500-700 and ask my family for help paying for it. I personally replaced the alternator on my old Buick rendezvous and it was honestly overly complicated considering they mount it on the back of the motor and the crazy steps you have to take to gain access to it...3 hours to get to it and remove it. Wish I could fix the truck myself but the computer on it needs to be programed to the new injectors so I would have a brick that would be stuck unable to be driven til we got that done. I am hoping this fixes and it and I do not have to replace any others or the fuel pump/rails.
Business has been slow but it normally is this time of the year I am planning some changes this year with my baked goods, changing to natural flavorings and colors by Natural Flavors instead of the Emulsions from Lor Ann with artificial colors and gums that do not settle well with me. Trying to figure out want I want to jump in with menu and baked good lines up when the farmers market in April, I am thinking doing nachos/tacos with seite foods chips and tortillas and offering pork rind nachos for keto options. This last concept made me play with the idea of making my own pork rinds and playing with the idea of vending with them.
My other options for meals would be full on breakfast with waffles, eggs, bacon, all day, and making chocolate doughnuts and cinnamon sugar doughnut holes. Bakery wise thinking my almond butters, Girly Lemon Cookies (girl scout lemon cookie knockoffs but gluten free and low carb), biscotti, hazelnut cookies, sunbutter cookies, and chocolate chip chocolate cupcakes with walnuts? would like feed back on this last one, going to avoid decorating them due to cost of sugar free royal icing.
Also wondering how to afford my orders these next few months for almonds, flavors, website renewal, health permits, etc.
