Bad Day #3

Guest

My name is Melisa. I am 25, married, and have two beautiful daughters, one 5, one 3. I am a fulltime dietetics student and a classically trained chef. Although I have not been dx'd yet, I have been suffering from celiac for 10 years. It was mild for the first 5, but the past 5 years it has been out of control and ruling my life. Since it was only recently that I put the pieces of the puzzle together to come to the conclusion of celiac, I hope to document my symptoms, feelings, ect daily.

Today was another bad day, third day straight. I went to work, my stomach in knots and cramping, the DH (un-dx'd) on my hands is driving me crazy itching and I felt exhausted all day. Once I got home, I made dinner, ate, felt incredibly sick, then bath time and bedtime for the kids.

Now that the kids are in bed, my husband at class, its time for me to relax, and try to feel better. I felt horrible yesterday too so I didn't get any school work done, so that has to be a priority today...but it's not. So, while I'm relaxing on the couch, my laptop will be on my lap and I will attempt to concentrate on some school work.

I really am hoping that tomorrow proves better than today. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I will be asking for the full celiac panel blood test and a recommendation to a dermatologist for the DH. Hopefully my doctor doesn't treat me like an idiot.
