Picture Time

Mosaics

I think it's time for more pictures! I got a new car in June. It's a BMW Z4. I had a Z3 for about 10 years that I sold...on www.craigslist.com , believe it or not. It sold the first week to the first person who contacted me. Wow. Anyway, here's my new car. Ain't it purty?! It has lots of cool features and I'm enjoying it very much. Well, crud. I can't get the picture smaller so the whole car is there. Oh well, this part is pretty enough. ;) ETA: Well, I guess I got it too small. Can anyone see the postage stamp down there?

Cute. Do you like to zip like I do? Dunno how old you are but who gets red anymore- isn't that totally 80s? (lol) Is it a retractable hardtop?
Well, I have an SLK. Last car had cloth top- Wanted the retractable hard top more than the MB brand name. I call it my BOND GIRL CAR. Friend would see it and say, I thought you got another convertible? And I'd say...OH, but it IS a convertible and drop the top to their chagrin.
Deep blue with shiny rims and 2 toned interior. As soon as I got my 1st real job at 21, I went and got a convertible and I just can't live without one now! I did make myself stick to a V6... :) I always buy used, and I value it as part of my travel, entertainment, and stress-relief!
But I knew I'd get a speeding ticket- where I work they have a nationally recognized traffic cop sector-no joke- and it was $350!!
I budget a speeding ticket and online traffic school every 2 years....
I think it takes a really fun person to have their primary or only vehicle as a drop top-especially a 2 seater. Don't you?
When my car was in the shop I had a rental with a moon roof- what was the purpose of THAT? whateva
I love my Benz. My 7 year old students say, I want a Muh Say Deez, teacher! I'm like, then get on the college track!

Hey! Red is "totally 80's"?! Absolutely not. Red is smokin' hot and the only color that roadsters should come in. Of course, they have to make other colors for those people who aren't quite as hip and leave the red to me.

I had a RED BMW Z3 for nearly 10 years. When it was time to upgrade, it had to be the Z4...in red, of course. I test drove a lot of other roadsters, but didn't like any of them as well as the BMW. It's a cloth top, very well insulated so there's not much road noise, and it's automatic so I don't have to get out of the car to open/close. It even operates off of the key so that when I'm across the parking lot I can push the button and the top is down before I get to the car. Very cool!

And yes, it is my primary car. I'm married with two children and we each have our own car. And I agree, there is no purpose to a moon roof or sun roof. We had a sun roof in our PT Cruiser a few years ago, but we couldn't drive with it open because of the vibration. What a waste.

Oh, yeah, I'm 46 years old and will probably be driving a roadster when I'm 80. B)
