Nightblindness

My eye doctor is HOT! He has amazing hazelish eyes...AND I've adored him ever since he told me that I'll never need glasses full time (I wear them to see in the dark or driving at night) because I only have night blindness. And YOU KNOW I love that cuz HOW MANY teachers do you know without glasses?

I mean, going through all that college and the graduate school can really wreak havoc on the eyeballs, ya know? People OFTEN assume I wear contacts (even colored contacts-what a compliment!) since I'm a teacher.

FUNNY, FOR TEN YEARS I'd had my night eyeglasses and NEVER lost them. NOT ONCE! Then, I go gluten free and I can't tell you how many times I've lost them! Brain fog, anyone?

(My old eye doc- also cute- tried to sell me contact lenses- which is NUTS since I have ZERO depth perception in my night glasses and CANNOT walk in them without falling down). Yes, I've forgotten to remove them and fallen FLAT on my face at a movie theatre before. Yes, yes.

BUT TODAY I read that nightblindness is a SIDE EFFECT of celiac disease!!

Amazing how the correlations just keep a comin'! Now I see why some people blame EVERYTHING on celiac.

Why not? haha

By the way, I'm doing the naughty comfort food thing tonight since it's my bday week and I was glutened ALL WEEKEND. I'm having Hebrew National hot dog and Lay's potato chips with green onion dip I made.

mmmmmm I'll probably steam some edamame just to get my food groups in today.

Tomorrow I'm cooking pot roast with veggies.

SO FUNNY how I used to be a vegetarian, isn't it!?!!@#$?!

OH, I also tried those SCHAR crackers finally, and they are GOOD. Put the Kraft Colby- Jack cracker- sized cheese slices on them. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm

WELL- I GOTTA GO VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will AHHH-NOLD stay the king of Coll- eeef- or- knee- uh?
