Another Day, Another Rice Cake

Mosaics

It's Sunday. We just got back from worship services then eating at our favorite Indian food restaurant. Thankfully, most of their food is gluten-free. About the only thing we can't eat there is their wonderful flat bread (nan and roti). Oh, how we miss it!Lindylynn asked me what kind of dog Pearlie is. I'm not sure how to respond to her comment on my blog yet, so I'll just answer here. Pearlie is a Maltipoo (not a Bichon). A maltipoo is half Poodle, half Maltese. If the sire is a Maltese, which Pearlie's is, then the puppies will have more of a Maltese look. If the sire is a Poodle, then they will look more Poodle-ly, Pearlie looks a lot like a Maltese, but as she has gotten older (she's 1 y.o.), her hair has become much more wavey. She's a sweetie.I live in TX and drove to Knoxville, TN to get Pearlie after a long arduous search for just the right pup. People tease me because they think it is extreme to drive so far for a dog, but she turned out to be well worth it.
