Good Eats Out
Chic-Fil-A. MMMMMMMmmmmm Per usual, I didn't have the gluten-free Menu w me, but I decided on a gr. chic. sandwich no bun or pickles or sauce and fries and it was really tasty! It was my first time there and the server was gluten clueless.. didn't have a list or menu of gluten-free options, but she DID tell the cooks no pickles-- so it wasn't her fault there were pickles on my sandwich and i had to send it back. It was still pretty great. The soda was terrible, tho.

i also had a great meal at Denny's after a late night of hanging out with my cowboy last weekend.
Tomorrow I may need to galavant over to Anaheim and take out some visiting friends of a friend.
I imagine food might be a necessity, so I'll eat plenty before I go, so if there aren't many options for me, I'll be able to have a good time still.
Made my date drive 30 minutes (longer with traffic) to meet me at my Cactus Cantina, a local place where I have a few standard items I feel comfortable ordering since I've discussed it with the help there. However, it was a new waiter and the food that he served me had flour tortillas- i sent that back- they were wrapped in foil and I unrolled them, so I had to wash my hands upon discovering the mistake- and the carne asada looked different than normal. So, maybe it was messed up. I did inform him of my issues, but my back has been hurting for 2 days now.
Too tired for cooking this week (out of vitamins), so I just whipped up some gluten-free cole slaw with a poppy seed dressing that I like the recipe for, and I ate that every day with leftovers or a hot dog or something.
Yum.
