The couple, celebrating their October 2022 nuptials in Joshua Tree, California, planned for an intimate ceremony with close family and friends. However, their magical night took a sharp turn when Bryce, who has celiac disease, accidentally consumed gluten, leaving him sick for much of their wedding night. Blake, now able to laugh about the incident, reflects on what happened and how it strengthened their bond as a couple.

However, they proceeded to use the cake, assuming it was safe for Bryce to eat.
