    Thank you.  I have eliminated gluten, but feel I am missing something still.  This is helping my search to help myself.  I will get a Dexi scan soon.  My father has sensitivity indicators and also bone loss.  I want to stay ahead if I can.

    Thank you.  I have eliminated gluten, but feel I am missing something still.  This is helping my search to help myself.  I will get a Dexi scan soon.  My father has sensitivity indicators and also bone loss.  I want to stay ahead if I can.  

    What makes you say you feel are missing something still? Is there less improvement in symptoms than you expected when going gluten free?

    Actually, I have felt great for over ten years!  I believe I have some sort of attack recently with either arrowroot or cassava flour with caused me extreme GI distress, so bad, I thought I had gluten again.  I could hardly walk or make it to the bathroom.  Unfortunately, even though I am gluten free, I still experience those things that lead me to believe I have Inflammation.  I also have slight osteopenia.  I am not fixed yet (lol).  Of course the gluten free has helped, but as I age, the osteo has become a thing for me and maybe it is different for Women vs. Men.  My father took calcium suppliments for osteopenia, but never was tested for Celiac.  The calcium has caused him heart issues now, because the calcium got into his heart.  Our bodies are delicate and many things can happen to them if we treat one symptom, we might cause issues with another.  I am going to see a nutritionist soon.  I am pretty certain I have other foods that are also the source of issues for me.  I would like to find out what (soy, cassava, dairy, even corn).  It's just a guess.  I am still a bit frightened about cassava flour.  I had no idea that it has cyanide when it was not prepared correctly.  That is as scary as apple seeds having arsenic right along with peach pits having cyanide as well.  We don't plan on eating them, but someone finds out!

    Certain gluten-free flours do run the possibility of cross-contamination, especially at mills or packaging facilities, so be sure you purchase ones that say gluten-free, or better yet, certified gluten-free.
