Scott Adams was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1994, and, due to the nearly total lack of information available at that time, was forced to become an expert on the disease in order to recover. In 1995 he launched the site that later became Celiac.com to help as many people as possible with celiac disease get diagnosed so they can begin to live happy, healthy gluten-free lives. He is co-author of the book Cereal Killers, and founder and publisher of the (formerly paper) newsletter Journal of Gluten Sensitivity. In 1998 he founded The Gluten-Free Mall which he sold in 2014.   While you remove gluten processed foods from your diet, there are vitamins and minerals added to those foods because the standard western diet has been deemed deficient by government agencies and so are required to be fortified. Gluten free processed food are no usually fortified. For every food you delete, make sure to find another source in you new diet...

  I have been using their toothpaste and some of their other products that are labeled gluten free. Sorry about that. It is so frustratingly hard to get clear answers from companies on gluten content.

  I've been using eos lip balms. I usually get it at costco. Eos has little round balms, but also stick ones like chap stick. Costco has both. They are labeled gluten free when you buy individual balms, but the combo package from costco isn't always labeled gluten-free. The company web site says they are gluten-free.
