DNA Life Bars' Chocolate Coconut Fudge Gluten-Free Bar

Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.
DNA Life Bars' Chocolate Coconut Fudge Gluten-Free Bar -

Celiac.com 10/17/2013 - I tried DNA Life Bars' Chocolate Coconut Fudge gluten-free bar and found it to have a nice chocolate flavor, with a hint of coconut, and almost the same consistency as fudge.

The best part about DNA Life Bars is how nutritious their bars are. They contain 14 grams of protein and 5.5 grams of fiber, yet contain only 26 grams of carbs and an ultra-low 2 grams of sugar! Besides being gluten-free they are also dairy, soy, corn and trans-fat free as well. To me this bar seemed more like a healthy meal substitute, rather than just a bar.

Eagle Therapeutics CeliAct Gluten-Free Fish Oil
Fish oil supplements provide well-established health benefits, but they are especially beneficial for celiacs because they aid in the recovery of fat levels and reduce intestinal inflammation. Eagle Therapeutics' CeliAct Fish Oil is tailored specifically to the needs of celiacs: taking CeliAct alone is great, but you really need that extra fat to heal your intestines.
The capsules are of a decent size, but I can easily swallow two at once. I have not taken other fish oil supplements, but I know that many who do experience the dreaded “fish burp”. I am happy to say that I still have not experienced this phenomenon, but I have noticed feeling generally more focused. Placebo effect or not, I'm going to keep taking them.

Spicely Organic and Gluten-Free Taco Seasoning
Finally someone has made a taco seasoning that is not only certified gluten-free and organic, but it also doesn't contain the usual preservatives, artificial colorings and flavorings—including MSG!
Another plus about this mix is that it is salt-free, because most taco seasonings are loaded with salt—I like to control the saltiness of my food, thank you.
The tacos I made with Spicely Taco Seasoning came out great, and the mix is also free of milk, soy, eggs, fish, shell fish and nuts, for those of you who avoid these common allergens.

    Herbert's Chow-Chow Original Gluten-Free Gourmet Relish
Celiac.com 01/06/2014 - If you love a good hamburger or hot dog on occasion as I do and you want something more than ketchup and mustard to spice it up, try Herbert's Chow Chow Original Gourmet Relish.
Chunks of fresh cabbage and spices create a delicious sauce that is thick and savory.  Use this relish as a condiment, as a dip for chips or even as a healthy snack.
What other relish does all that?  Herbert's Chow Chow has no preservatives and is fat free and is also gluten-free.  Once you try it, you may never buy regular relish in the grocery store again.

Guthrie's Original Sin In A Tin Chocolate Pate Dessert (Gluten-Free)
Guthrie's Original Sin In A Tin Chocolate Pate Dessert is a wonderfully decadent treat that is perfect after any meal—it will make any occasion feel like a special one—including birthdays, holidays or any other day that you would like to make more memorable.
The taste of this wonderfully chocolaty confection reminded me of my favorite flour-less chocolate cake, but it was even better because it was more creamy and less dense. This is the type of dessert you would typically associate with a fine dining establishment, after paying too much for a meal, but now you can have it at home—and just in time for Valentine's Day!
