Guthrie's Original Sin In A Tin Chocolate Pate Dessert (Gluten-Free)

Celiac.com 09/15/2010 - I recently received a sample of Heinz BiAglut PastaMia Gluten-free Fusilli and I was curious as to how this Italian gluten-free pasta would compare to others that I have tried. I cooked them exactly as instructed on the bag and they came out beautifully.  The gluten free noodles held their shape and had a nice, firm "al dente" texture. 
The taste reminds me of the pasta I grew up with prior to being gluten free, and it would be a great canvas for any sauce.  Heinz BiAglut's gluten-free pasta is going to be my family's new staple.

Needing extra protein in your gluten-free diet?  Then I would highly suggest trying biPro's gluten-free unflavored whey protein.  It is usually hard enough for me to find a gluten free-protein powder, but it is even more difficult to find one that is versatile and doesn't clump.  Recently I tried biPro and I decided to just pour some of the protein powder in my cup of chocolate milk and just mixed it up with a spoon.  Unless you try this for yourself, you probably won't believe me when I say that the chocolate milk tasted just like chocolate milk and the powder dissolved beautifully.

I tried an Acai Berry Chia Bar today that is made by Health Warrior, and was pleasantly surprised. This chia bar is 100% natural and has a nice chewy texture that is also crunchy at the same time, which makes for an interesting combination.
The bar is packed with chia seeds to the point where it contains 1,000mg of Omega-3's, four grams of fiber, and three grams of protein...and yet contains only 100 calories and 15g of carbs! 
For those of you who like to have a quick, healthy snack on hand, this bar is an excellent choice.

For lunch today, I had gluten-free spaghetti pasta topped with Dave's Gourmet Hearty Marinara Gluten-Free & Organic Pasta Sauce—and the sauce was definitely hearty! I immediately noticed the large chunks of fresh tasting tomatoes and garlic in the sauce which was balanced perfectly with organic basil and onions.
I love that this sauce uses only organic ingredients and real extra virgin olive oil as some pasta sauces use less expensive versions like canola oil. As you can probably guess, Dave's also doesn't use any artificial ingredients, colors, or flavorings. Another plus is that this marinara sauce doesn't taste too salty which is my pet peeve with many pasta sauces (if I want salt I'll add it or use Parmesan, thank you). In fact, this sauce has just the right amount of saltiness w...
