    Herbert's Chow-Chow Original Gluten-Free Gourmet Relish

Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.
    Herbert's Chow-Chow Original Gluten-Free Gourmet Relish -

Celiac.com 01/06/2014 - If you love a good hamburger or hot dog on occasion as I do and you want something more than ketchup and mustard to spice it up, try Herbert's Chow Chow Original Gourmet Relish.

Chunks of fresh cabbage and spices create a delicious sauce that is thick and savory.  Use this relish as a condiment, as a dip for chips or even as a healthy snack.

    Celiac.com Sponsor (A12):
What other relish does all that?  Herbert's Chow Chow has no preservatives and is fat free and is also gluten-free.  Once you try it, you may never buy regular relish in the grocery store again.

I always have a jar of Herbert's Chow Chow in my refrigerator; it is perfect on pinto beans. I like their spicy version. It's also the most popular selling brands of Chow Chow in our store.

Joy Cone Gluten-free Sugar Ice Cream Cones
Finding a good gluten free ice cream cone turned out to be a real obstacle for me. Either they held up well, but tasted like cardboard, or they had a good flavor but were extremely brittle.  I almost gave up on my search for a great gluten-free cone, but then I tried Joy's Gluten-free Sugar Ice Cream Cones.  Joy Cones have such a nice crisp texture and are strong enough to hold up to my eight-year-old's scooping skills. Not to mention that they taste amazing!  I even catch my non-celiac kids dipping into my stash.

Kays Naturals Gluten-Free Almond Delight Protein Puffs
I just tried Kay's Naturals Gluten-free Almond Delight Protein Puffs and I have to say that they were not a disappointment.
Open Original Shared LinkWith only 115 calories, 12 grams of protein and 2.5 grams of fat (no trans fats) per serving, I was a bit skeptical, but this crunchy snack kept me satisfied between meals--guilt free!  I love that it is made with real almond meal and almond butter because I just despise any artificial flavorings.  These little puffs are packaged in individual serving sized bags, which are not only convenient but they help keep the flavors and textures fresh.

    Yehuda Kosher Gluten-Free Matzo Crackers
Celiac.com 03/22/2013 - It can be difficult for those trying to meet the requirements of multiple dietary restrictions. It becomes especially difficult for celiacs following a Kosher diet during Passover, as matzo traditionally contains gluten. Fortunately, Yehuda's gluten-free matzo not only fits the bill, but it tastes great!
I might not be the most qualified person to evaluate the... well, let's say technical accuracy of this gluten-free version of matzo crackers. These are labeled Kosher for Passover and they're imported from Israel, but I am still not even entirely clear on the diet limitations of Kosher/Kosher for Passover, nor have I ever consumed matzo.
However, I can say this: if my diet was restricted such that I could eat nothing but these crackers for a week, I...

VersaMeal Whole Grain Gluten-Free Baking Blend
Celiac.com 07/13/2014 - If you're looking for a quality product that can make several different kinds of baked goods including muffins, pancakes, waffles, sweet bread, and brownies you definitely need to get VersaMeal's Whole Grain Gluten-Free Baking Blend.
This new product comes in a two pound bag and it does not contain starches, gums or cellulose that are used in most other conventional mixes. I tried the blueberry muffin recipe and they came out moist with a golden crust topping that was delicious!  These muffins are great for breakfast or a midnight snack or any time in between.
