Celiac.com 04/14/2021 - We get a lot of questions from celiac community members wondering if certain products are gluten-free. One question we see a lot is about energy bars, especially Clif Bar. Specifically, is Clif Bar gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease? The short answer is no, Clif Bar is not gluten-free, and are not recommended for people with celiac disease.

Per the Clif Bar website, "Clif Bar Energy Bars are not gluten free. To determine which Clif Bar & Company foods are gluten free, please go to the Dietary Considerations page."

    Celiac.com Sponsor (A12):
That said, the Clif Bar company does make plenty of gluten-free Luna Bars. Now, Luna Bars are marketed as a women's energy bar, but for anyone looking for a gluten-free energy bar, including men, don't overlook their Luna Bars. A list of gluten-free Luna Bars can be found by going to the Clif Bar Dietary Considerations page and searching for Products without Wheat.

    Clif Bar Allergen Reference Guide
Occasionally, Clif Bar updates their product ingredients. Their allergen reference table contains the most up-to-date information for Clif Bar & Company products. If you have a wrapper that doesn't match what’s listed here, don't worry. The information listed on that wrapper is correct for that product.

MAN Advanced Nutrition Chocolate Almond Gluten-Free Energy Bar
Great energy bars do not have to contain soy.  If you're gluten-free and can't eat soy, you should try this new gluten-free energy bar made by Ebars.
Open Original Shared LinkThe main ingredients are almonds, honey, oats, flaxseed and pumpkin seed.  The sweetness of the bars is provided by coconut sugar and raspberry, and the himalayan pink salt ensures the bars are not too sweet.  I found that they satisfied my cravings for something chewy and delicious at the same time.
In addition to being gluten and soy-free, they are also 100% USDA Certified Organic, Kosher, and Non-Dairy.
