    Is Simply Orange Juice Gluten-Free?

Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.

Wondering if Simply Orange Juice is gluten free and safe for people with celiac disease? Here's the rundown.

Celiac.com 09/13/2023 - We get a lot of questions about foods and food products. We've recently gotten a bunch about orange juice, especially the brand Simply Orange Juice.

Is Simply Orange Juice gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease? The short answer is yes.

    Celiac.com Sponsor (A12):
Most all orange juice is naturally gluten-free. Orange juice is made from oranges, which are naturally gluten-free. In addition, the processing of orange juice does not include any gluten-containing ingredients.

Finally, there is little or no cross contamination risk with other gluten-containing products. So, unless there's hidden gluten ingredients in the juice, it's considered gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease.

Simply Orange Juice, like most orange juice brands, is considered naturally gluten-free, and safe for people with celiac disease. Here's the rundown, along with a handy list other brands of gluten-free orange juice.

Celiac.com 08/01/2014 - I sometimes have to remind myself that it’s the 21st century, and that some amazing scientific breakthroughs that sound like something out of science fiction are, in fact, real.
Take for example the technology, recently developed by researchers at the University at Buffalo, that allows researchers to safely examine intestines using nanoparticles. The popular name for these orally administered nanoparticles suspended in liquid is ‘Nanojuice.’
Human small intestines are each about 23 feet long and 1 inch thick. Located between the stomach and the large intestine, the small intestine is notoriously difficult to examine, hence procedures like biopsies, endoscopies, etc.
The new technique, being developed by researchers at the University at Buffalo, uses nanop...

The short answer to the first question is that Mike's is not certified gluten-free. Mike's hard lemonade is gluten-removed. That means Mike's is made with barley ingredients and crafted using enzymes to remove gluten.
Mike's Hard Lemonade may be safe for certain people, but it's not recommended for people with celiac disease, especially anyone who is highly sensitive to gluten. ...
