SOYJOY Baked Whole Soy and Cranberry Bar

Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.
SOYJOY Baked Whole Soy and Cranberry Bar -

Celiac.com 10/10/2012 - With so many gluten-free snack bars coming onto the market nowadays, it can be hard to find one that stands out, and really deserves a spot in your snack food reserves. SOYJOY makes great baked whole soy-based gluten-free bars, and their new cranberry flavor is one of their best yet.

When trying to describe the new cranberry SOYJOY, my first instinct is to compare it to a Nutri-Grain bar, just lighter and with whole dried fruit instead of a jelly filling (and no gluten, of course). I'm not usually a huge cranberry fan, but in this context, the cranberries add a very satisfying tanginess that keeps the bar from being overwhelmingly sweet. The bar also has a pleasant texture: it's both light (not overly heavy or chewy like some snack bars) and slightly moist, which is surprising given that it's made from baked soy.

You can't expect to replace breakfast with these, but they are free of trans fats, low glycemic, low sodium and have 4g of protein. The ingredients list is also short and easily understood, with whole soy and dried fruit and no high fructose corn syrup. The portion control is also good, coming in at only 140 calories per bar.

If you're looking for a tasty, fruity gluten-free snack to tide you over between meals, these are definitely worth a try.

Celiac.com 07/30/2007 - I have a deep and abiding love for chicken nuggets. I associate tasty breaded chicken nuggets with growing up, as they were an integral part of happy childhood dinners.
When I started my gluten-free diet, I thought I'd bid farewell forever to all things breaded and that I would never again enjoy the tasty, crunchy, tender goodness that is a plate of chicken nuggets.
I'm   happy to say that Martha's   Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets has proven me wrong, and happily so.
Martha's makes gluten-free all breast meet chicken nuggets that are tasty, tender, and all things good about chicken nuggets. In addition to containing no wheat or gluten ingredients, Martha's makes these gluten-free chicken nuggets by hand in a gluten-free facility, using only the f...

    SOYJOY's Pineapple Gluten-Free Nutrition Bar
Celiac.com 07/07/2011 - With three children, it feels like I am always on the go, so I am always on the lookout for nutritious gluten-free snacks that I can keep in my car or grab on my way out the door.  However, recently I've grown tired of the typical flavor profile found with most gluten-free nutrition bars, but I really did want to find one that would excite my taste buds.
I was particularly happy when I came across SOYJOY's pineapple flavored gluten-free bars.  At first, I was a little worried that the pineapple flavor would taste artificial, or that it would have an overpowering pineapple taste.  Thankfully, that wasn't the case!  They use real dried pineapple and juice (what a concept), and that is only a small part of what this makes this bar a tropical treat.  SOYJOY's glu...

Libre Naturals Nonuttin Gluten-Free Chewy Granola Bars
Libre Naturals has made a gluten free granola bar that is hard to resist.  Why do I love these bars so much?  Let me count the ways.
For one, these gluten-free chewy granola bars are made in a dedicated gluten-free facility, and contain 55% organic cocoa mini chocolate chips and whole grain certified gluten-free oats.  They use evaporated cane sugar and brown rice syrup to add sweetness that is perfectly sublime, but not overpowering.
The bars are crunchy and satisfying. I found them to be a perfect snack anytime of the day.

    CeliAct Gluten-Free Diet Support
As a person with an intolerance to wheat, barley, and other grains and products with gluten in them, I have sampled numerous vitamins and supplements over the years.  One of the best I have ever taken is CeliAct. I am happy to say that this supplement has recently been reformulated and it is now better than ever.
Open Original Shared LinkOne of the biggest changes to CeliAct is the recommended dosage.  The new serving size is 2 soft capsules a day compared to the former serving size of 6 large hard tablets taken two times a day.  These old tablets were so big I had to cut them in half to take them - but that is no longer a problem because the new capsules are soft and very easy to swallow.  This is a big improvement!
There are several other significant changes to this supplement in te...
