    Vegan Roasted Winter Nuts (Gluten-Free) -

    There is nothing like the taste of fresh-roasted nuts during wintertime. This recipe will please all of the nut lovers out there!

    Vegan Roasted Winter Nuts (Gluten-Free)Ingredients:
    • 1 cup pecans
    • 1 cup macadamia nuts
    • 1 cup cashews
    • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp. all-spice
    • 1 Tbsp. sugar
    • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. Barlean's flax seeds
    • 1 Tbsp. fresh orange zest
    Instructions:
    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
    2. Place all nuts on a cookie sheet and roast for 10 minutes.
    3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine sugar with spices, flax seeds and orange zest; mix well to combine.
    4. Remove toasted nuts from the oven and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with oil and spices; gently toss to combine.
    5. Transfer nuts to a serving dish and serve warm.

    1 cup sour cream ½ teaspoon celery salt
    1 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip (dip is sweeter with Miracle Whip)
    ½ teaspoon dill weed ¼ teaspoon onion salt
    ¼ cup chopped green onions 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
    3 cups or (1 package 10 oz. box package) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

    This recipe delivers tasty, refreshing lemon-watermelon coolers that also happen to make good mixers for grown-up drinks.
    Ingredients:
    4 cups seedless watermelon chunks (about 1 pound) 1½ cups lemonade 8-10 fresh mint sprigs Directions:
    In a blender, puree the watermelon and lemonade, and strain into a pitcher.
    Muddle the mint in a glass, add ice, and top with cooler.
    For a tasty, refreshing grown-up cooler: Add vodka, clear rum, or silver tequila as desired.

    Ingredients:
    2 cups mayonnaise 2 cups whole milk yogurt 3 tablespoons minced onion 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (recipe below) 3 teaspoons fresh dill weed 1½-2 teaspoons white sugar, to taste Directions:
    In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, minced onion, seasoning salt, dill, and sugar. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving to blend flavors.

    Celiac.com 06/16/2015 - A cool fresh green salad is one of my favorite things to eat on a hot day. If I'm lucky enough to have leftover chicken wings in the fridge, then I make this tasty little treat.
    You can make the wings according to these recipes, or use your own.
    The basic idea is to marry chicken wings with fresh crisp lettuce, and some blue cheese dressing, and have a culinary blast!
    Ingredients:
    10-12 Buffalo chicken wings, cooked and cold Lettuce Tomato Cucumber Other salad ingredients of choice blues cheese dressing Koser salt black pepper to taste Directions:
    Make a fresh green salad with ingredients of choice.
    Top with cold buffalo-style chicken wings. Or, you may remmove them meat from the wings first, if you like.
