    Celiac.com 12/09/2021 - Looking for gluten-free cosmetics, lipstick, eye make-up and more? It's important for people with celiac disease to avoid gluten, not only in their diets, but in their beauty products as well. Finding good cosmetics that are gluten-free can be a serious challenge. To make it a bit easier, we've put together this handy list of gluten-free make-up brands.

    Some products contain no gluten ingredients, some are labeled gluten-free, others are certified gluten-free. Some companies use 100% gluten-free facilities. All of the companies declare that all of their products are gluten-free.

    Certified Gluten-Free Cosmetics

    All Four Stigmatic products are gluten-free and vegan.

    Gabriel Cosmetics
    Gabriel Cosmetics are all-natural, paraben-free, and certified gluten-free by the GFCO. 

    Givenchy
    All Givenchy cosmetics and fragrances are gluten-free. "None of Givenchy's products, including lipsticks and other cosmetics, contain gluten as an added ingredient in the formula, but in order to go even further in the vegetal risky proteins (including all wheat protein hydrolysates) from our products, even though these ingredients are still widely used elsewhere.     That us why I started using them. I found them at a Gluten-free Expo. Everything they sell is gluten-free, paraben free, and free of many other things you don’t want in your makeup. This is part of the info on their website:

    Sorry, I misunderstood the intent of your post. I took your post to mean since Red Apple isn't on the gluten-free cosmetics list here at celiac.com, they must not be gluten free. It seems like they should be added as the list is always a work in progress.

    Tocopherol acetate ( also listed as vitamin e oil) or Tocopherol, can be refined from wheat/gluten. This is an ingredient that should be listed as an ingredient that could contain gluten. However, it can be refined from other things such as soy.

    That's what Red Apple is all about is Gluten Free!! Down to the minuscule amount. They are truly gluten free!!

    IT Cosmetics are NOT gluten free and don’t claim to be either. I’m very confused by them being listed in this article.

    Anyone have any experience with Mom's Secret or Honeybee Gardens makeups?

    According to Honeybee Gardens all their stuff is gluten free and what I've seen of the Mom's Secret, it is as well.

    I did get some of the Mom's Secret Lip Gloss and it seems to be pretty good, but their eyeshadow is too expensive for my taste, so that's why I've been looking into Honeybee Gardens.

    And what are some options for gluten free shampoo and bodywash?

      @trents I absolutely understand the perspective of getting off completely from wheat, but sometimes situation may occur that you won't have choice to eat other than wheat, my son travels a lot, since they travel in team, it's not easy to go out and find him a gluten free every single time! I have seen, even in NJ I m struggling to find out gluten free stuff...
