The SnoCoCeliac Support Group will meet on February 14 (2nd Tuesday) at 7pm

in Conference Room A of the Group Health Northshore (Bothell) Clinic. If anyone

INTRODUCTIONS

2006 CELIAC AWARENESS WALK AND FOOD FAIR: Save May 20 from 8 am until 12 noon

for the Celiac Awareness Walk around Greenlake and Gluten Free Food Vendor

Fair.

CELIAC FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS:

KAILI'S KITCHEN CLOSES February 20: Kaili hopes to continue by selling her

baked goods in local stores. For updated info see

NEW GLUTEN FREE NEWSLETTER: Connie Sarros, who wrote several gluten-free cookbooks,

recently announced her new FREE newsletter. You can write to Connie at

gfcookbook@hotmail.com to request that she add you to her mailing list.

TRAVEL WITH celiac disease SEMINAR: All about gluten-free travel seminar presented by Bob

Levy of Bob and Ruth's Travel, on Feb 26 (Sunday, 1-5 PM) at Group Health

Capitol Hill Clinic South Building at 125 - 16th Ave NE, Seattle, in Cafeteria

Rooms A1, 2 & 3. Mail your registration forms and payment postmarked by February

16, 2006 to receive the $20 each rate. Earl Ley has registration forms and

will bring them to our February meeting or if you cannot attend our meeting,

contact Earl at 425-747-1110 or email leynell@gte.net to request the forms.

CELIAC TRAVEL WEBSITE: This website has interesting info on traveling with

MARCH MEETING AGENDA: Yvonne from GlutenFreeda will visit, leading a

discussion and provide gluten free GlutenFreeda food products.

NAMASTE GLUTEN FREE GOODIES: Our 3 Namaste pastry mix bakers will each share

their experiences using those mixes and samples will be available. Thanks to

Sandy Lasley, Julie Poole and Richard Schaadt for preparing the NAMASTE gluten-free

goodies.

DISCUSSION TOPIC: TRAVELLING SAFELY WITH CELIAC DISEASE: How many have

traveled to strange cities or even foreign countries since their celiac disease diagnosis? We

will focus this discussion on what HELPED you or what made your travels easier.

Please refrain from travel horror stories. Feel free to ask your travel

questions, but also consider attending the Bob & Ruth's travel seminar on February

26 to hear even more travel tips.
