FAMILY CAMP July 30-August 5
Are you looking for a great family vacation this summer where you
don't need to worry about what you are eating? Shady Creek Family
Camp is providing a special gluten-free menu July 30 - Aug. 5 as
part of its regular family camp program, offering a special buffet for
families on a gluten-free diet (in addition to their regular menu.)
Shady Creek is a wonderful, new, all-inclusive family camp located
near Grass Valley/Nevada City in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada
Mountains, near the Tahoe National Forest. It is about a 3 hour
drive from San Francisco and is one of the best vacations a family
can have. Shady Creek offers 2 packages: full week (7 days/6 nights)
and partial week (4 days/3nights). The prices are at
http://www.shadycreekcamp.com/pricingandreserve.html
Shady Creek is designed for families to spend quality time together
in the great outdoors. Many families come with friends. There are
organized activities during the day including arts & crafts, swimming,
ropes course, archery, nature hikes and a variety of other sports
activities. Evening activities include campfires, talent show, outdoor
movie night, Luau Night and Parent's Night Out. Offsite, Shady Creek
offers wakeboarding and water-skiing, trips to a local gold mine and
box lunches at swimming holes along the Yuba River.
Families stay in new cabins with private decks, a lodge with loft
rooms, or adobe dome cabins with skylights and patios. Each room
or cabin has one queen and two twin beds (more beds are provided
for larger families.) Three wholesome meals per day are served in a
large, spacious dining hall, the large pool is open all day and there
is a small general store for sundries.
This is an opportunity for a great family vacation and a chance for
you and your kids to meet others on a gluten-free diet.
