cure. Monte Bello is a place of rolling grasslands, dense
creekside forests, and spectacular vistas. The preserve
is one of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District’s
richest in wildlife and ecosystem diversity.
Registration and continental breakfast begin at 9:30am.
Walk begins at 10am and is 3 miles long, though you are
welcome to shorten your walk if you desire. The walk can
accommodate jogging strollers, no dogs are allowed. All
pre-registered walkers will receive gifts. Monte Bello’s
main vehicle entrance is on Page Mill Road, 7 miles west
of Highway 280 and 1 mile east of Skyline Blvd.
Proceeds to benefit the Celiac Sprue Research Foundation,
www.celiacsprue.org and Chaitan Khosla’s lab students at
Stanford University who are also researching celiac disease.
