SF BAY AREA CELIAC NEWS..............DECEMBER 2006
OAKLAND SUPPORT GROUP MEETING THIS WEEKEND
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2
This is our Christmas holiday meeting in Oakland. Our
speaker is Dr. Mimi Winsberg, a physician and star athlete.
Dr. Winsberg will talk about her own diagnosis and discuss
how a champion tri-athlete lives and trains with celiac disease.
Santa will come around noon, and children are welcome to
attend the entire meeting. Parents should provide a small
gift that Santa can give to their children.
Since this is a holiday meeting, please bring a special
gluten free goodie, if you can, along with the recipe or
ingredient list.
The meeting is at 1950 Franklin Street, Oakland, near
the 19th street BART station from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
