Atlanta Metro Celiacs January Speaker Meeting
Saturday, January 19, 2008 (REVISED DATE) 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (at Scottish Rite) in the Main Auditorium
The speaker for our January meeting will be Dr. Alessio Fasano. Dr. Fasano is regarded as one of the foremost authorities worldwide on Celiac Disease, and his epidemiological studies in the United States have changed the preconception that Celiac Disease is a rare disorder in our Country. Dr. Fasano is currently Professor of Pediatrics and Director, Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, and Co-Director of the Center for Celiac Research at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He concomitantly holds the rank of Professor of Physiology and Professor of Medicine.
Entrance Fee *There will be a $5.00 per family (cash only) fee for all non-members attending the event *Members who have renewed their membership for 2008 can attend for FREE *2008 Membership Applications will be available at the registration table *All funds raised will be donated to the CFCR at the University of Maryland School of Medicine
Refreshments: *Beverages will be provided by the Atlanta Metro Celiacs
