Details
A casual event setting to discuss the challenges of baking and cooking for special dietary needs -- including recipe alterations and setting up your kitchen.
Eating delicious food is one of the wonderful pleasures of life ? dietary changes shouldn?t take them away from you. It is possible to avoid wheat, dairy, and nuts, and still enjoy your favorite recipes. Join alternative baker, Nicole Bubolo and learn how to alter your recipes to accommodate several food product intolerances. Through personal experience, Nicole has learned how to set up a gluten-free kitchen, and will discuss basic ingredients, cross-contamination, and set-up, based on information from the Celiac Sprue Association & Columbia Celiac Disease Center.
