What's New in Celiac Disease?

The 1st Celiac Center Forum & Gluten Free Food Sampling

The Celiac Disease Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston, MA, will be hosting its 1st Celiac Center Forum on Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 9AM to 12:30PM. The forum will include experts speaking on celiac disease, as well as a variety of gluten-free food vendors who will provide guests with free samples of their product, as well as products for sale. The forum will also open up for discussion and questions after the speakers have addressed their individual topics.

Speakers from The BIDMC Celiac Center will include:

Ciaran Kelly, MD; Medical Director: "Finding and Treating Hidden Celiac Disease"

Daniel Leffler, MS, MD; Clinical Research Director:"Evolving Frontiers in Celiac Research"

Melinda Dennis, MS, RD, LDN; Nutrition Coordinator and Registered Dietitian:"Insights into New Labeling and Nutritional Concerns"

With comments from The Healthy Villi, Greater Boston Celiac/DH Support Group

Registration will begin at 8:30am

RSVP is required as there is a limited number of seats available.
