Jen Cafferty: Founder of "The Gluten Free Cooking Expo" Check out her websites http://gfreelife.com/ and http://www.gfreefriends.com/.
Why: As a newly diagnosed student in the city, I've come to realize there are no nationally recognized gluten free support groups actually located in or around the loop/downtown area! This was really frustrating to me and I bet there were others out there with the same burning question... Where can I find others to help me with this crazy disease or intolerance? The purpose is to come together, share stories, ideas, recipes, current news, frustrations, surprises, and anything else one could bring to the table. This first meeting on JUNE 15 is to gather and figure out what we want this group to be about and if the dates/times work for everyone. Bring any friends and family you'd like, and anything you'd like to share with other people living gluten free!
