The Greater New Haven Celiac Group invites you to attend the first meeting of the season

Featuring a Cooking Demonstration by Rebecca Reilly, author of Gluten-Free Baking

The Elk's Lodge - 175 School Street - Hamden, CT

Don't miss our first meeting of the season on Sunday, September 12 from 2-5 pm featuring a cooking demonstration by author Rebecca Reilly and a brief presentation by Ted Malahias, DDS, concerning a clinical dental study involving individuals with celiac disease he is conducting and how you might be able to help!

Rebecca Reilly will show us how to prepare a quick lunch, something fun for the kids and holiday recipes utilizing her strudel dough recipe. Rebecca, trained at both the renowned Cordon Bleu cooking school and the Le Notre Patissier in Paris, believes that eating should be a pleasure no matter what dietary issues you have. Rebecca's book, Gluten-Free Baking, offers more than 125 recipes for delicious savory baked goods and will be available for purchase.

Ted Malahias, DDS, is currently conducting a clinical study looking at dental enamel defects of celiac patients. He is working in conjunction with Dr. Peter Green of the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Malahias will briefly explain the purpose of his study and be available to answer questions.

Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route15) Northbound: Take Exit 61, turn right at the bottom of exit onto Whitney Avenue (Route10). Travel 0.3 mi. and take a left onto School Street. Building is #175 on the right. Parking lot is on the right.

Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) Southbound: Take Exit 61, turn left at the bottom of exit onto Whitney Avenue (Route10). Follow directions above.
