This session of Life with Celiac Disease focuses on Managing relationships with celiac disease, boundary setting and setting up a successful holiday season. It is led by Celiac specialized Life Coach Stacey Solomon, Phd.
Life with Celiac Disease is a series of virtual educational seminars geared towards people and families living with celiac disease. Each lecture features a guest lecturer who is an experts in either clinical treatment, mental health or life skills coaching related to celiac disease. Funds raised through this series go to funding important celiac programs for patients of Vanderbilt Health.
The seminars are correlated but independent of one another, providing value for patients who chose not to attend all sessions.
Meet Dr Solomon:
Dr. Stacey L. G. Solomon is an education specialist who primarily focuses on individuals diagnosed with celiac disease. Dr. Solomon earned her PhD from the University of Georgia (UGA), where her research focused on the vital role experiential learning plays in the self-management of celiac disease. Having navigated celiac disease for the past 14 years, she has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those living with this condition and is dedicated to helping others embrace their diagnosis and thrive in a gluten-free lifestyle.
In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Solomon holds a certificate in organizational coaching from UGA, enabling her to work closely with individuals seeking to better understand themselves and their relationship with celiac disease. Her coaching emphasizes empowerment, resilience, and practical strategies for managing health and well-being.
