Program: Lisa Gillen will be the guest speaker. She is a nurse from
Indiana University Hospital and The Indiana Heart Hospital. She also teaches
computer classes at the nursing school at IUPUI. Lisa specializes in Gastro medical
conditions, surgical conditions; and problems in the colon, small intestine,
celiac, and pancreas just to mention a few. Lisa has celiac disease herself and
is very knowledgeable in this area. The format for the meeting will be a
question and answer period. If you have questions, please write them down and ask
at this meeting. Invite friends and relatives that may want to find out more
about celiac and what it is. She requests that you bring your spouse to this
meeting for better understanding of the disease. Please bring a gluten free item
to share along with the recipe or list of ingredients.
