Subject: Walk for Celiac Awareness
Request for Conference Vendor Participation
Red River Celiacs Gluten Intolerance Group is participating in the “1st Annual Moving Feet Without Wheat Walk for Celiac Disease Awareness” on May 21st, 2005. We will also be holding a health fair with the Walk.
We would like your company to be represented at our walk with product and/or samples and any information you would be able to send. We are averaging about 5 new people at our support group meetings each month. Any flyers, etc. not given out at the walk will be put to good use in our new patient packets. We also have a local R.O.C.K. group and just started a College support group as we have 4 local colleges. We are also having a silent auction to raise funds for our second Gluten Intolerance Education Conference to be held Oct. 14-15, 2005. Any items donated for our auction baskets would be greatly appreciated.
Also, we would like to invite you to be a vendor at our Gluten Intolerance Education Conference Oct. 14-15, 2005 to be held at the Moorhead, MN Courtyard by Marriot. Fargo, ND is the nearest airport just across the river. There is no charge for having a vendor table, only a fee for your representative’s meals during the conference. A medical conference will be held on Friday night. This is our second conference and this years speakers include Dr. Peter Green from Columbia University, Dr. Michelle Pietzak, and Shelley Case R.D. from Regina. We are anticipating 300 or more attendees including dieticians, physicians and general public. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to send a representative to have a vendor table at our conference or donate product and information. We look forward to hearing from you. If you are not the decision maker for your company, would you please be so kind as to pass this request on to the proper person. Thank you.
