Please join us for our fourth annual Patient Education Day. The event is expected to attract upwards of 1,000 patients, family members, clinicians, nutritionists, nurses and scientists from around the nation to learn the latest about celiac disease.
The comprehensive program is about the science of celiac disease as a multisystem disease. We’ve included 19 educational sessions that touch on adult and pediatric celiac disease with experts in each area. There will be an extensive program for teens that includes educational sessions, a teen cooking program and workshops. There will be an exhibit area showcasing gluten-free food companies with gluten-free samples, along with pharmaceutical and diagnostic manufacturers that are working in celiac disease. Kiwi the Clown will be hosting an arts and crafts program for children throughout the day. Mark your calendars for this educational, fun-filled family event.Register online at www.celiacdiseasecenter.columbia.edu before September 2 to participate. Registration is $70 per person. No Refunds. Register early, there is limited capacity.
