The conference offers an excellent opportunity to get your questions
answered about diagnosing celiac disease, follow-up treatments, the
latest research, diet information, cooking and baking tips, and gluten
free lifestyle advice.
CME credits are offered for medical professionals. There will be an
expanded vendor section with book sales and a children's program.
We are considering an Octoberfest theme with gluten free beer!
We are currently looking for volunteers to help organize the conference.
Jobs include working prior to the conference (contacting vendors, planning
the children's program, choosing and working with the caterer, advertising,
doing the paperwork for CME credits, setting up the room and making gift
baskets, organizing all the volunteers), and also working the day of the
conference (registration, children's program, set-up, clean-up, helping with
catering of the gluten free baked goods). If you have a new idea for the
conference please volunteer your suggestions or better yet, your time to
help make it a successful event.
Conference information will be posted at http://celiacsupport.stanford.edu/
and mailed to everyone in late September. If you want to volunteer, please
contact Kelly Rohlfs.
